What a gem within walking distance of Chatham center. Directly diagonal from the famous Chatham Bars Inn but about half the price and a gorgeous water view. Ask for a room upstairs as the ones on the top level with the open lawn area all have great views. The staff were super helpful with recommendations for local stuff too.

You cannot beat this place for the friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but nothing beats the view. You are literally on the water. There is a private beach area; the grounds are beautifully kept; it is walking distance to everything and no need to keep up appearances - beach attire is just fine.

Property is the best beachfront location for the price. Very clean. Beach is literally outside your front door and so easily accessible. Rooms were very clean. A 5 minute drive to Main Street Chatham with so many restaurants nearby. Would stay again.

Wonderful location. The view of the ocean was breathtaking. Hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Only thing snag was the cable was out, so no TV for the period we were there, not any fault of hotel.

This quaint throwback inn was refreshing. Not a lot of bells and whistles. However, those were not missed because the room was quiet for rest, substantial in space, outstanding view, and simply comfortable. In terms of cost it was more expensive than we normally prefer but definitely in line with other Cape Cod/Chatham properties. The staff and managers are outstanding. Grateful we stayed at The Hawthorne Inn.
