We were given an attic room with lots of low beams. My husband is 6ft 3 so not good for him. There was a very small bath with a handheld shower- very tricky to use. It was 3 flights up so not good for our dog. The food was excellent though.

Had a lovely stay for three nights. Bedroom was fine and with a/c. Good swimming pool to use and good grounds. Just 5 mins from the train station. Al a carte menu was good though they didn't offer any alternative if you didn't want a la carte which was one downside. Good selection for breakfast.

Lovely place

Our stay with our two dogs was very comfortable. It was a bit pricey but normal for the location. The ac blows towards bathroom so room was not very cool and we closed windows and darkening shades early to keep sun heat out. Bathroom very clean with tub and shower and separate toilet.

Lovely setting, very nice staff and nice hotel. Meal was very good, but disappointed that our 90euro per person meal did not have a fish course and a meat course, especially as the lobster half was very small. Also confit tomatoes did not go with the raspberry sorbet, not a good idea. But the sorbet was delicious

Watch out - the very good reviews do not match with the actual experience. The walls of the hotel room are paper thin, there are cockroaches in the hallway and the building is a bit run down. The spa and gym cost 15 euros per hour and person. On the positive side, the staff is super nice and helpful, the breakfast is really great and put together with attention to detail.

The place is really beautiful and elegant. Needed conditioner in the bathroom but small beans. The restaurant is very well equipped and for fine dining a wonderful experience but if you want a steak, just grilled to perfection, it’s what I’d describe as fussy.
