Ranchos en Charlton Horethorne

“Beautiful room with all that I needed for my overnight stay. I dined in the restaurant, and had breakfast, and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend the Belland Crown.”

“A beautiful and amazing place, the service of the owners excellent, it was a shame that we only could spend a day over here.”

“I checked out early from the property after just one night stay. Bathroom mouldy, room smelt of curry which became even stronger throughout the night, room was small and the single bed was too with dirty sheets. Could not even fit the iron and ironing board in the room. Asked for a second towel to be told no. Unsafe area and reallly run down. Dont stay”

“Unfortunatly the Pecking Mill Inn was in need of a good clean. Very dated and forgotton. There were beer pumps but not in use. Cans were poured into our glasses and price was not cheaper. Food was on offer but we chose not to beat. Room was unclean. Did not use shower. Geoff was a lovely host and welcomed us.”

“Lovely staff.”

The children had a blast playing at the large play area while seeing the goats and alpacas. Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. The only downside was that, even though they have wifi, we had no signal in our room, so we could only go online (wifi or otherwise) at the restaurant and common areas.”

“Ok room for one night. Mid October with 4 degree outside temperature but no heating on. No instructions on heating but seems to be centrally controlled. No thermostat in room. Towel rail switched on and radiator thermostat up to max but still no heating. Very cold. Did not sleep properly. Irritating green safety light in ceiling also kept me awake. .”

“Plumber Manor is a perfect place to stay if you want a peaceful retreat in beautiful gardens , a comfortable bed and delicious food. It has a well stocked bar and the wine prices are reasonable. The only negative was the wifi was weak in the courtyard room we stayed in which caused ‘buffering’ when watching a film. We mentioned it to staff and it will be rectified. It is a family owned hotel so the service feels personal. Somewhere we would definitely like to return to. There are many...
