We picked the Doyle for its location; this was a one night stop on a longer vaca, and it was perfect. Toured Monticello then checked in here and walked to Belmont and the downtown mall for dinner and ice cream. Another short walk in the AM for brunch and a stroll thru UVa campus before we left. Standard room was fine - minimalist, but clean and everything you need. Lobby, bar and rooftop restaurant are all beautiful!

Cute hotel, great location but I did not like that I had to submit all of my information including my pic to some sort of biometric tracking BS system. I would not have stayed there had I know that ahead of time. Also the water in the shower was never really hot.

Said parking options were a paid lot seversl blocks away when valet parking was available. No instructions that elevator code was the same as room code. Hotel was MUCH better when it was Quirk. Will find other options when in Charlottesville.

The hotel is very hip, modern and has great facilities. They are very popular so the rooftop bar was packed and we couldn’t go in. Also staff is not easily accessible because of the business model but once you reach them they are very helpful.
