Some rooms reek of dog urine while others make enough noise to keep everyone up for days some don't respect others work schedules seem a few roaches in the rooms purchased raid to spray my room while there, other than that Ms.T is the bomb very sweet soft spoken very professional and very understanding wish other hotels in the area had staff like her she has a few other staff members that are good as well

There were a lot of people lingering around the property. Lots of drug sales and an abandoned gas station right down the street where drug sales were made. Overall the stay wasn’t bad, staff were really nice, and everything was clean but the area that this hotel is in, I would not recommend. I did not feel safe at all!

Got there around 3pm for check in and their system was down. It was back up and running 15 minutes later. After check in we left our bags in the car to check out the room. Didn’t see any bugs and looked really clean. Left the hotel to grab some dinner with family. We arrive at the hotel a couple hours later. Take our bags out the car as we open the door to our room there is bugs everywhere. The floor, the walls, and even coming out the stove top. We don’t sit our bags down and we walk out. Called the service desk they have someone come and talk to us. His response was “I’m sorry that’s nasty. It’s because it’s getting cold and you’re on the first floor.”

Mixed bag

My mom and I stayed her as a result of her house having an extended power outage due to Hurricane Helene. We went to Gastonia because it was relatively unaffected by the storm and hotel rooms were available at a reasonable rate. We stayed for almost three weeks. This hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. First, the good. The staff was excellent. Everyone from the front desk to maintenance to housekeeping were friendly and competent. Also, we met a number of long term residents and they were all quite friendly and we became friends with quite a few. The price was right and my mom and I each got a room of our own. Everything in our rooms functioned as required from lights to appliances. The area around the hotel has a lot of trees and is quiet at night with the exception of the freeway which is on the north side of the hotel. The bad: #1, there were roaches. I killed 2, and found 1 in my fridge, dead. I'm a super clean person and never left food or garbage out (even my garbage goes in the fridge) and yet still found two on the counter. #2- the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. I tossed all night and woke up with horrible back pain. #3- noise. Not just the interstate, which was expected. People fighting in neighboring rooms, people partying out in the parking lot. The room had a beat up feel with gouges in the walls, a missing door on the cabinet, etc. And nothing is supplied- no dishes, utensils, pans, not even a coffee pot or hair dryer.

Prior to this motel I had reservations at a different that turned out not good then I came to this and the lady that checked me in went above and beyond to make sure we had a room to stay in I recommend this one it has kitchenettes makes it even better
