The staff was excellent, the breakfast was hot and delicious with many options to choose from in order to cater to guests’ dietary needs. The location is excellent with many fun things to do nearby.

First room we were given has a television that didn't work. We were upgraded to a King Suite which was a nice upgrade, but the lighting from the parking lot illuminated the entire bedroom with no curtain in the center section of the window to obscure these bright lights. Overall cleanliness was not up to par based upon my extensive history of staying with Hampton Inn. Staff was courteous and prompt. Breakfast was great.
Had a good stay at this location. Had some issues with the TV and the remote control. But the front desk quickly fixed the issue. There are a variety of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. As well as Carolina Place Mall. Carowinds is nearby. You can practically walk to South Carolina from where you are. Overall, my experience was great.

This hotel had great potential, but it is currently not well maintained or managed. My first room the tub had hair in it from the previous guest and my refrigerator was broken. There were unruly guests that took over the hotel and they did nothing about so other guests suffered. They moved me to another room that had multiple lights out so I was in the dark trying to get ready. These things could all be fixed with a little care in checking things before they check in a person. The only redeeming factor was their fantastic front desk staff who really did all they could to help and tried to make things right. They are the only reason I stayed and am not giving this one star.
