The hotel itself is lovely. Very nice amenities, bar, restaurant and pool. However , we were disappointed in our room. It was difficult to find places to store items and clothes. There was only a small place to hang clothes and little counter spaces other than the sink vanity. It was really one big room with a partial wall dividing the bed from the shower and sink. The only door was for the toilet. There was an iron and no ironing board . We were there for a wedding and needed to iron a few items that wrinkled in our garment bag. Also, there were limited places to charge devices.

Amazing staff!

My aunt and I stayed a few days for a funeral. The trip was already hard on us, but Shenetra and David made us feel right at home. They were absolutely amazing and helped us immensely. Because of them we will definitely be staying here again if we come to town. Thank you both again!!

I loved the Dog adoption idea. The gal who checked us in was getting a mop and when she arrives at the desk she cleaned up before helping us check in. Many of the outlets did not work in the room. We bought ice cream cones and they were melted and when we returned to get refund the one that was not opened he asked us to put it back in Fridge. So the next guest can be disappointed. Come on!!! my coffee was not restocked the 2nd day.

Ideally Located

This hotel is ideally located in Mooresville. The room was small, but very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and they had a great pool and exercise room.

1. Maid service was poor. 2. Sink drain did not drain. 3. Maid left our room door ajar after emptying trash-never even got an apology. 4. Maid did not replenish toilet paper or Kleenex, did not make beds, etc. 5. The female bartender was fantastic. We most likely would never stay at an Aloft property again. Complained to the front desk who took my information and sai the manager would call me (Saturday afternoon). It is now almost noon on Monday and no call has been made. I would choose another hotel.

At the end of the day, it was a place to sleep. Had several little issues but nothing to scathe about. Hardly ever saw someone at front desk so had to wait several minutes for them to show. But when they did, they were very helpful. Noticed several garbage cans overflowing and garbage on ground. Beds were not comfy. The thermostat in the room had a major delay. Adjusted it down one degree and the T-stat kept flashing “wait”. Flashed for a good 5 min before the AC finally kicked on. Had to let the shower run for 7-8 min before any hot water would come out. Then it was not very hot. Like I said, bunch of little things.

Small rooms and uncomfortable

The room was very small and uncomfortable, bathroom door with a lock and was not able to Close the door. Pillows were uncomfortable too soft and the room was never clean or made by the service team, towels were not clean or replaced during our stay.

Clean hotel but I was there several days and the room was never cleaned . They didn’t resupply towels every day and did not bring us toilet paper . Also, the bathroom is not in a separate room which is strange . Weird concept .

The bed was was comfortable and linens great. I had a problem with the "white noise" coming form the AC. I tried to get rid of it but it never stopped, took a long time to fall asleep with noise. Room was clean and DryBar products appreciated. Hallways are dark.
