We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and we appreciated that there wasn’t a heavy duvet on the bed during the summer. We would definitely recommend staying here.

the room was very spacious and beds were comfortable. It was closer to the highway than I thought so that was a little loud and not super private to sit outside but it was still nice to have an outside space. Staff were great and met me after hours so I could check in, which was greatly appreciated. Overall a nice stay, but not lots to do, however our purpose was an accessible space that was roomy enough for 4 adults and it more than met that need.

Great motel with extra care from the owners

Great find! Small motel with a great view. Be aware that the motel is on a very busy street. Sitting outside or keeping the patio door open will be noisy. The extras available at reception were definitely a plus for us. You can access reception at any time to get extra towels or coffee pods, but also to borrow a toaster, a kettle, cuttlery, dishes, etc. There's a real freezer in the fridge of the hotel room, and ice cubes already available. Small things when you think about it, but it needed someone with an extra care to think about them.

Motel with a nice view

Nice affordable motel when compared to other accommodations in this pricey area of Quebec. Nice comfortable and clean rooms. Nice system of codes to open room door; which is quite convenient if you happen to arrive after 5PM (when the motel supplies the door code to your phone). Close to the town of La Malbaie that offers plenty of dining options. Although we didn't go to the casino, it is nearby that motel. Great, friendly and accommodating staff. I was hiking the famous "l'Acropole des Draveurs" the next day and the owner allowed me to park all day on his site, although I was checking out that morning. This was extremely appreciated. Highly recommended.

The property has a great view. They charged us without a check in. When we had to return home unexpectedly on the second day, they would not refund the third. I understand that they would not refund the second, as we did not let them know until 1pm, and that was after the checkout time. But their policy said 24 hour notice for cancellation, and we were letting them know more than that. Very disappointing and bad business. We will not return or recommend the property to anyone.

The room was very clean and had a beautiful river view. The microwave and refrigerator with a separate freezer compartment were very convenient and useful. I also appreciated that three sets of proper cups and glasses, including porcelain cups, were provided instead of disposable ones. The motel is not large, but it has a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Great Stay in La Malbaie

This was the perfect location for a visit to La Malbaie. Overlooking the Bay and walking distance to excellent restaurants and an amazing Art Gallery. Very quiet even though a main route was down the hill. Main floor room had a sliding door onto a sitting area.
