The self check in was easy hence the reason why I gave 3 stars to the staff helpfulness. The Entrance to the location was easy to miss but easy to access once we knew where to look. The room was very clean, spacious, also nice and quiet.

We stayed in one of their stand-alone 2 bedroom cottages. It was perfect for my mother and I but would also be great for a family with kids. It was compact but efficient and had the added bonus of no direct neighbors so completely quiet at night. Great location - we walked to several restaurants and the museum. Mostly though I wanted to thank the staff who were just lovely. We arrived well before check-in and were able to leave our bags with them, and the day we left we again left our bags with the staff for many hours. While this is common practice in big city hotels it’s much less so in smaller places so this was really appreciated.

I would recommend this hotel/motel to anyone visiting La Malbaie. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The patio door of my room was connected to a beautiful terrace facing the water. Different restaurants were walking distance just down the street from the hotel.
