Hubby and I enjoyed our stay. Bed was comfortable. Free beach chairs was nice. Loved the salt water pool and beach bar. Location was great, very walkable. The balcony was tiny but we asked for chairs and they delivered. No microwave in the room but again we asked and one was delivered. The nearby constructions was an eye sore, felt so bad for the businesses. The rooms in my opinion are overpriced but it is what it is due to the location.

Great location. All rooms face the beach. Adjacent to the pier. At the end of Folly Road. Walk to all the shops and restaurants. They have nice beach chairs for guests. Just check them out/in. One ding … No free coffee except in-room brewer. Continuous improvement suggestion … Rooms are not carpeted. Understand, due to the sand. But a throw/area rug between the beds would be a nice add.

It is an older hotel but it was very clean, plenty of parking, the pool area was nice with lots of seating. It has a nice coffee shop and Pinky’s restaurant was very good. The Pinky’s beach bar had a good selection and a nice area to sit. It is in a perfect location and you can walk to all the bars, restaurants and gift shops. We will stay here again.

Everything was great. Have been going there for years, and this was one of the best times. The beach and the weather were perfect. The staff did what they were supposed to without anyone watching. They were all helpful and friendly. It was also very nice of the hotel to arrange to give use of free beach chairs during the stay. They were cute pink and white with a canopy. This meant a lot since the new beach chair rental company gouges by charging $60 a day for their chair rental. Those chairs are a gaudy orange. This is a price increase since the previous rental price per day was $45. The Tides is the best!
