Stayed here while visiting College of Charleston (about 15 mins away by car). Loved the property and room! Breakfast was wonderful. The hotel is in a cluster with other similarly nice hotels, however, it is also super close (walking distance) from so NOT so nice "hotels" where there appears to be a lot of shady activity. That said-the hotel is secured at night (front doors lock at 9 and access only by keycard - this was casually noted by staff without prompting at check in and later in the evening while venturing out for food, it clicked as to why) and we always felt safe and enjoyed our stay at this property.
