Though non-smoking now, it was clearly used for smoking for years. The room smelled badly of cigarettes, and the humidity from the bathroom caused old smoke accumulation to drip and streak down the door. Also past 10pm, staff were rolling very loud laundry carts past our room (unfortunately located near the laundry facilities). Front desk employee was very polite and checkin was easy. Location was perfect for our needs, though we will not stay here again mostly because of the old smoke smell.

The TV didn't work, couldn't call front desk because phone didn't work. They never came to fix like they said they would after we waited several hours for them. The AC never fully cooled the room. The room had a musty odor. The bathroom had a different odor. Location was best part We always stay in Mt Pleasant due to central location to IOP, Folly and Downtown Charleston. Location was best part.

This is my third time staying here and I will always recommend it. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. We had one issue with noise and the staff resolved it immediately. This is the best place to stay with close proximity to anything you’d want to visit in Charleston. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again! The staff was also super welcoming and friendly! Room has all needed equipment and is close to the parking area. High deposit for the key card at check-in, loud in the backyard because of the evening celebrating workers (guests?) and machine and vehicle noise in the morning from 5am. Grocery 5 min walk, bus station to the Charleston visitor centre in 15 min walking distance, alternatively 10 min drive.
