We checked out after 5 mins of checking in. There were roaches in our room, along with mold, dirty used sheets, and bad odors (just to name a Few things). Unsafe for families. Lots of prostitution going on as well as drug use/sales going on. 2nd floor is so unsafe and should be condemned floors are sagging and the walkway to the rooms are sloping and damn near falling down.

Staff was super nice. My room was comfortable and clean. It's an inexpensive hotel so expect that it lacks things like coffee makers. My only real complaint is not about the property itself it's the location. While it is convenient to get to Folly Beach and Charleston there are very limited restaurants in the immediate area even to grab something quick unless you want McDonalds which is next door. I wouldn't have used the pool but note that it is covered and not in working order. But for an inexpensive place to stay the bed was comfy the room was clean the A/C worked and I slept well. Not sure I would stay again mainly because this area is just so congested and the lack of restaurants. Everything seems to be 1/2 hour away even if it's only 5 miles. It just takes that long to get anywhere. I had a room with a microwave and refrigerator but even the closest Publix seemed to take 20 minutes to get to. There is a Piggly Wiggly next door however I am not sure it was open. Many places in this area are closed or run down.

The room had a heave smoke smell. The bed was clean, the floors were dirty. The tv reception was terrible and glitchy. The outside was dirty and there was trash everywhere. The pool was neglected, green with alge and loaded with debris. Staff was very pleasant.

The staff is friendly and do their best to make the stay pleasant. If they can help in any way they make it happen. The ladies in the office make you smile. The place is being upgraded. If there is an issue with other guest they address the situation . Its a great location to food/ beaches . Like every place they do have hiccups. For the price you can't beat it..

Disgusting room with roaches climbing everywhere. Property is under construction. Other guests were very friendly. Location of the property is convienent and walkable restaurants nearby. No wifi, no refrigerator or microwave. Just a sleep stopover if needed, walk up the street and book somewhere else.

So, so hotel.

You can tell once you arrive that it has gone downhill since to photos posted onli e had been taken. The people were nice. The room was ok. Had no mini fridge, no microwave, no clock. There was no coffee available in the morning like was listed. Would I stay there again....only if i absolutely had to with no other choice.

The lady at the front desk was awesome! I screwed up the dates on my reservation & she helped me straighten it out. The hotel is old & does need some tlc. It isn’t the roomiest but served its purpose. There are a ton of places to eat nearby. It is by the freeway & you can hear everything. My neighbor’s were very loud. They were yelling at each other with kids screaming & a dog barking throughout the night. I had to turn my tv on & the volume up. There seems to be a lot of that people that may live here & were very nice people. I did see a roach but only 1. Don’t like them but grew up in a downtown neighborhood of a big city in the east so just 1 doesn’t spook me. I loved the parking right outside my door.
