The hotel is in a great location, price is right and pet friendly. This is a budget motel and you get what you pay for in that regard. Our family including dog really enjoyed our stay and would recommend and stay again!

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The reviews weren’t the greatest but we decided to give it a shot as there weren’t many options left for the night. Hotel and room was very clean, comfortable bed, and had everything we needed in room.

I have stayed at the property many times over the past few years, mainly because of the location and the convenience to downtown Charleston. Since new owners have acquired the property, maintenance has GREATLY declined. it is ROACH infested. Housekeeping is POOR at best.

I honestly really want to say good things about this place but the only amazing things were the staff and juice dispenser. The rooms are unfortunately needing a new renovation as it's falling apart and desperately needs to fumigate for roaches. I had to change rooms twice because of the cockroaches. The staff was really kind/understanding and changed my rooms for me no problem. It was an alright stay, the beds were comfy and breakfast was filling for sure, the juice is the best part.

The staff was nice and helpful getting everything ready. The room was clean and didn’t smell of cigarette smoke which was an A+ and the pool was clean. The only two CONS were having to pay for parking after you pay to stay there, what’s up with that? And the breakfast, don’t fuss, they tried, just go somewhere else but the coffee was good. (Maybe we caught them on a bad morning, dunno). But all in all we would stay there again.

We were originally booked in the Annex building and it was a bit out of date and seemed more like a 20something beach party but the front desk staff was amazing and got us into a room in the main building. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Having the marina across the street was nice.

Be aware you cannot easily walk downtown. However uber prices are reasonable. We checked in a little early and had to pay 50 dollars which was disappointing. Rooms were nice and breakfast was good.

Great location minutes from historic district. Your closer vis uber from here then a lot of downtown. Free parking, nice complimentary breakfast. Pool was nice but too cold out to use. Quiet and right in the water. Stay here if you’re doing a boat cruise. I’d stay again.

Being received so warmly and patiently by the front desk staff provided clear clues of how the rest of our trip would go. We enjoyed the whole stay. The facilities were clean, all amenities provided. We experienced a clean, comfortable room, all while feeling safe in a location that made getting to and from Downtown Charleston very simple. We didn't even need a car since riding on Uber or Lyft into the city was inexpensive and quick. The breakfast in the morning was highly appreciated and had us ready for long days of exploration. I would gladly stay at this place again in the future.

The property itself was nice in a decent location. Although the first night I came back to my room and the door was open, my things had been rummaged through. The hotel front desk told me not to worry about and I’d be fine, it’s was probably the cleaning crew. Although they never cleaned my room, took out trash, made the bed, or picked up dirty towels.
