The hotel is in a great location, price is right and pet friendly. This is a budget motel and you get what you pay for in that regard. Our family including dog really enjoyed our stay and would recommend and stay again!

My check in was quick and front desk was very friendly. The room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Air conditioner was a bit noisy but did not affect my ability to fall asleep. Shower was a little dated but provided a nice hot shower that was very relaxing. Parking was excellent. I would definitely stay there again.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The reviews weren’t the greatest but we decided to give it a shot as there weren’t many options left for the night. Hotel and room was very clean, comfortable bed, and had everything we needed in room.

This La Quinta is an older property that is showing its age. It’s at a price point that still makes it desirable based on its location, but needs a full update. Our room was relatively clean, which was a major bonus. The location is ideal for visiting the old downtown of Charleston. There are very few restaurant options in the nearby vicinity however, there is one restaurant that is within walking distance. What I stay again, possibly.

In general this hotel need some deep cleaning. You only get maid service every 3 days. We had to ask for more towels. Air conditioner did not work well. Poor water pressure in bathroom sink Water pressure in shower was slightly better. The location is very convenient to downtown Charleston. You have to pay $10 a day to park while staying at hotel.

The front desk staff was more than awesome. I had a small problem with my room and Ken, the front desk person not only brought me a new key to another room he even helped me move all of my belongings including my cat. He waited to make sure everything was perfect and when the tv showed a lost signal message he even moved furniture to ensure that the connection was indeed the problem. It was. He definitely went above and beyond. Upon checkout after a nice breakfast buffet, the receptionist wanted to make sure that my second room was totally up to expected standards. Not only are they pet friendly(cats and dogs 30$) the rooms are spotless, and the morning view was filled with yachts in a marina. A definite stop every time we pass through Charleston.
