Great stay

Although the hotel is undergoing renovation it was clean and quiet. The lobby area was a little rough(because of renovation) but the room was excellent, clean,comfy. Breakfast was very good. Bonnie the attendant at breakfast was charming and helpful!

Okay!

We booked a room with two beds. The key card would not unlock our door. The receptionist was very nice and got a new room for us. However, it was one bed and not two. The bathroom still had someones hair in the shower so it was not the cleanest.

Positives:friendly staff, slept well. Things to work on: room didn’t have towels or toilet paper. Had to ask for it. Shower had handicap limits on hot water so was not able to take a shower as the water was cold. Had to wash my hair in the sink.

Everything was clean and nice, only complaint is that the you could smell that the room had been smoked in, but unfortunately once that smell is in the room it's there to stay so there's not much to be done about it- and frankly most hotels in WV have been the same in my experience. Check in staff was nice, helpful, and QUICK which I appreciated!

They were renovating, but not too much of a problem. It snowed and the parking lot was not cleared. Ice machines were not working other than the first floor. You could hear everything going on in the hallway or around you, so not great for privacy. But the staff were all pleasant the the breakfast was really good.

There was dog poop in the floor when we arrived in the room, not enough staff to clean, no towels, bugs everywhere, etc the front desk staff was rude.

Was a little disappointed, not as clean as I thought it should be, very skimpy on towels in room. It seemed like a cheaper hotel. I usually always book Holiday Inn Express and this is the first time I have been disappointed.

I booked a room thru Expedia as it shows 7 rooms available. The manager on duty, told me there were no more rooms under the Expedia price. I asked how much is the room if I did not use Expedia as I had been traveling all day and need a place to rest. He said "as a matter of fact" we have no rooms left in this hotel at all. I begged and pleased with him. He told me to go down the street, mind you I was from out of state and travelling with family, who was staying at this hotel. My son in law who is an Army vet and Diamond member, tried to reason with the man, but he would budge. I felt he was very rude and was not willing to work with us on any level. Very poor customer service.

Needs renovations

Comfortable bedding, clean rooms and friendly staff. Needs renovations desperately. Fridge in room did not work and was not told it did not work so had to throw out what we had in the fridge. No WiFi in the room. Good breakfast however they was out of several breakfast items.
