My family stayed here during spring break and the pool and hot tub were amazing, the rooms and staff were perfect, and it was just a 10 minute drive from downtown Charleston. Close to the city but a calm, relaxing environment with a beautiful waterfront view.

Convenient location and nice view but hotel is run down- needs fresh paint etc. no good food or coffee shops on resort or walkable. 2 of 4 nights they had private events that limited access to site beach etc. fish house restaurant on site is not very good. Pools are nice.

We had a great time staying here for a long Charleston Bridge Run weekend! Staff always super nice! Perfect since we bring our pup! Great food at The Reel Bar and Fish House! Wonderful drinks. The room was great, and the staff were kind and very helpful! They allowed us to check in very early as our room was ready. My only complaint would be that our room did not have blackout shades on 2 of the windows, so it was quite bright in the morning. Other then that- fantastic stay!

Rooms were clean, air conditioning was very cool which we loved. Beds were comfortable. Staff was always pleasant. We ate at The Fish House on the property and enjoyed each dish. The water taxi is walking distant. For a small charge you can ferry over to Charleston. Definitely would stay again.
