We stayed one night in the King Suite while in town for a show at The Refinery. The room was spotless, spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The walls seemed well insulated because we never heard neighbors or outside noise. We slept in (convenient 11:00 AM check-out) and missed breakfast, and with such a short stay we didn't get a chance to use any of the amenities. We'd definitely stay here again. It's also a great location if you're planning to explore both Charleston's historic district and Folly Beach.

The good: The staff was excellent, the breakfast was good. The property is beautifully landscaped. The beds are comfortable. The bad: The safe deposit box did not work. The pool was closed. We had to go to the front desk to get towels each day. Overall, we were happy with the property and we enjoyed our stay.

After check-in I asked for a ground floor room as my wife has back problems and I was told there weren't any rooms available. The place was obviously not anywhere near fully booked. It looked like everyone was put on the second floor and there are no elevators. Other than that, the room was clean and appeared to be recently updated.

Nothing great. Nothing bad. Solid option for the price. Convenient location. The property, curtains, etc are dated, but it was overall clean and safe. The pool was nice. The breakfast was solid for a complimentary option. It would be nice if there was a bottle filling station and a fitness room.
