“Pretty run down. We spent a few hours there. Got at 1:30 at night. Got room with only 1 bed (4 people). They were nice and fixed the problem in 10 min. EV charger obsolete, could not plug my Tesla. Very old Tesla charger. Other charger required some network membership. Not great. Good I had enough charge to make it to the channel tunnel. But this increased our trip next day in 45'”

“Overall we were happy with our stay. The outside if the hotel and grounds are pretty, the food in the evening and morning was to a very high standard. We stayed in a very good sized suite, which pleasantly surprisingly had 2 bathrooms with matching showers, toilet and bath. On the whole, the staff were polite and accommodating to our requests. “The main house, gardens and grounds were excellent and well maintained. Our room in the Mews was very large with french windows opening on to a shared patio, essential in this heat. There was no air conditioning, or fan and our phone in the room did not work. We were supplied with a faulty portable fan, but in the end the open doors provided enough cooling air. The shower was superb with enough hot water whenever we needed it. We could have done with a table and chairs to sit and organise...
