We had high hopes for this lodge per the reviews and pics. I almost felt we were in Acapulco or another spring break destination with all the rules and regulations that applied. Don’t get me wrong, enforcing rules is great but come on we felt somewhat uncomfortable and too restricted. We did noticed however there was an extra charge for everything including early check in, water bottles, and even toilet paper. The area is situated in a great location close to the main square but if I would have known, I wouldn’t have stayed. Luckily I was able to find another lodge which made me feel welcomed and allowed me to check in early with no additional charge.
