This was a unique hotel in the middle of Old Town, within a few minutes walk to the Old Town wharf. We stayed in a upstairs/downstairs suite and had daily housekeeping. The best part of our experience was the innkeeper Greg who greeted us when we arrived. He spent probably 20 minutes asking us what we would like to do in Chania and the surrounding countryside, whether we would like to rent a car. He gave us advice on wineries and on olive oil production. His mother was also very kind, friendly and informative. For our first time in Crete, this was a wonderful experience.

I cannot recommend J&G suites enough! They are absolutely beautiful- we had suite 5 for 2 people with a gorgeous terrace. Staff so friendly and helpful and the attention to detail was incredible!

Great property! Walkable to a lot of restaurants, shopping and sight seeing. If you rent a car it is difficult to part other than paying for the garage near by. Would highly recommend

We loved our stay here. Roula was wonderful, stayed late to meet us after our ferry was delayed several hours. She also helped arrange transportation for the Samaria Gorge hike and early morning trip to the airport. The room was beautiful and very convenient to everything in old town. Recently renovated and not much street noise.

Great Property, Greg was fantastic, made us feel welcome and gave some really wonderful local suggestions on places to eat and activities to do. Room with terrace was a good space, quiet and modern. The hotel is well placed in old town with the pier a short walk away with lots of great food and drink options. If i went back to Chania I would book to stay again!

Cute and stylish boutique hotel in the heart of old town Chania. The design elements in the rooms are a beautiful mix of antique and modern. Very short walk to everything. Shopping, dining attractions. Staff is incredibly attentive. Beds are luxurious and comfortable. Shower has excellent pressure and controls.

Hotel communication was great. The room was clean. Location is everything. Did not like the sink - the faucet position made it difficult to wash your face. Also the stairs are steep and narrow - probably better for a carry on or backpack. Large rolling suitcase was a bit more difficult to carry up. Shower water pressure was great. No other issues. Greg was super kind to grab our luggages up and down the stairs when we happened to see him.

J&G Suites was perfect. The hotel is on a quiet but beautiful street. We stayed in the unit that faced this beautiful little street. For our unit there was a nice table and chairs in front of it. I was able to get some work done. We also sat outside for drinks. The hotel was a 5-10 minute walk to the harbor. The room itself was gorgeous. I could have sat outside forever. There were several restaurants on the street: Ginger Concept was fantastic for breakfast. If you want to have a really special time in Crete, stay here.

J&G have done and amazing renovation job, modernizing the property. Situated 5mins walk out side of old town, the suites provided quietness and tranquility from the crowds. Many restaurants and shops surround this location, so a morning cup of coffee or a quick bite is easily assessable. The grand suite was roomy enough for 3 adults to sleep comfortably. It felt like a home away from home. Joanna and Greg were prompt on all my inquires and a pleasure work with. Overall, my party was very satisfied with our stay. We highly recommend J&G when visiting Chania Old town.

Staying at J&G Suites was amazing! It's a gorgeous, newly renovated property tucked into the beautiful venetian streets of Old Chania. We had a room with a terrace that was just perfect for sipping our coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. When you step out of the hotel there is a gorgeous little square with bright pink bougainvillaea and a very nice restaurant. All of Old Chania is at your feet. The owner Greg is an excellent host and ensures that every detail of your visit is perfect. Recommendations like best Greek wines to try, excellent beaches nearby (and far away!), delicious restaurants, jazz clubs - they know all the best places. Parking is easy and we never had to park far from the hotel (but be sure and get a compact car!). Chania is a great destination and J&G Suites is a stylish and comfortable home base for exploring everything the Island of Crete has to offer!

We absolutely loved our stay!! It is perfectly located where you can walk to everything. The city center for shopping is a 5-6 mins walk, within several minutes you have access to numerous restaurants and 6-7 mins walk to the Harbor. There is literally 3 restaurants and a bakery right outside the hotel. It's a quicker walk to eat than an actual resort :) . Joanna & Greg the owners are a fantastic mother/son duo and will take great care of you. Upon checking they had full list of restaurants with the address and food options as well as suggestion on things to do. They assisted us with transportation and were just such a delight. My friends and I booked 3 rooms and the building is almost like an apartment walkup so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. My room was the 2 story suite and it was so spacious, the decor is BEAUTIFUL, Modern, clean yet with the charm you want to experience in Chania. Looking out the window of our hotel room it looks like an actual movie set. Almost unreal. Its a tad noisy in the early morning when the restaurants are opening up (out of their control) but if you keep the a/c on it will drown out the noise. Night time it is so peaceful and quiet but the town is open late so you can still find bars and restaurants until 2a. We would absolutely stay here again if we are able to make it back to Chania! Joanna and Greg thank you for making our anniversary trip so memorable!
