“Nice older-style hotel with helpful friendly staff. Room a bit small and overlooked by house opposite but other facilities very good. Relaxing lounge, very pleasant garden area, very nice restaurant serving excellent breakfast and convenient parking.”

“Don’t use this accommodation! As we arrived at 6 pm the place was closed! Nobody took the phone and we had to look for another place to stay. Not good!”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would stay at The Crown again without hesitation, however as I am disabled there are not enough parking spaces available for disabled guests staying at the hotel. The bays at the front of the hotel (3) were, at most times occupied by non blue badge holders.”

“Todo el personal amable”

“Lovely rooms and staff.”

“Habitación grande, cama cómoda, tranquilidad del entorno, desayuno correcto. Buen eifi”

“Convenient accommodation and parking to attend the opera at Glyndebourne. Room comfortable, but difficult to open the windows, and there appeared to be damp in the bathroom floor below the cistern. Good selection for the help-yourself buffet breakfast. Staff helpful and friendly. Parking easily accessible, but very crowded on arrival at 2pm on a Friday afternoon.”

“There was a golden wedding lunch party on the Saturday I stayed and one couple brought their dog which constantly yapped all afternoon when they left it outside in the garden. It did not make for a very relaxing afternoon reading on the terrace.”
