“In the heart of countryside sits this lovely manor and only a short walk away from the nearest town. If you want a simple stay with an easy breakfast and delightful, kind and helpful staff this is the place you want. Visited 3 times and shall be using again.”

“The Prince of Wales has bus-stops immediately outside the building and it is located opposite the entrance to Osborne House. Our breakfasts were generous in terms of portions and any extra requirements arrived swiftly. Our room was very good value and it was very quiet. Two minor issues with fixtures were resolved quickly and cheerfully. We did not have a car during this visit, but the bus journey from the East Cowes dock took only a few minutes on the local bus service. Great value , great...

“Tastefully decorated. The owners were great and the answer was always yes. Not keen on the tiny stairs up to room 5 and good job I’m short with the low ceilings. Lovely breakfast”

“We arrived early but we're shown straight to our room. The room was a good size with a very clean bathroom. The bathroom was of a good size with a walk in shower. The breakfast menu was more than adequate, enabling a cooked breakfast, cereal or fruit every day. The quality of the breakfast was excellent. The location was great, allowing a short walk into town or the old town and a lift ride to the seafront. This is a bonus after a long day out, as getting to and from the evening meal location...

“Liked everything with one exception. We had booked a superior double room. Upon arrival we were told we were being upgraded. The room was dominated by a super king size bed. There were 4 large lamps and 2 overhead bedside lamps. However no chair and no fridge. I enquired and unfortunately they did not have a spare fridge. I expected a chair and fridge in a superior room.”

“Poor shower design flooded bathroom On our first breakfast, buffet service disorganized. Yoghurt bowl empty, no fruit, ran out of cups, no marmalade etc The staff run off their feet but taking the flack from residents politely.”
