Everything was great! The trails are lovely, the pool was good. Be prepared the restaurant on site is only 4-9, but absolutely delicious. I think next time I'd be some breakfast burritos on the way to keep in the room fridge and heat up in the microwave, but definitely will be returning again!

We had a lovely stay for one night at the Ashwood. Room was spacious and clean. AC unit and mini fridge worked very well. The bed was comfy, and it was dog friendly - so it ticked all the boxes for us. The owners were fantastic, super friendly - allowed us to sit on the patio area after the restaurant had closed, which was great for having some evening drinks and playing some cards. Very short drive into Bayfield, or about a 30mins walk. We would definitely stay again!

The staff was great: Mark at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and renovated. The location of the motel is noisy when you’re outside but fine in the room. The restaurant was convenient and the food was good. Service was very good. We didn’t use the pool as it wasn’t very inviting after I had a chance to swim in the lake. The place was very quiet.

Great place to stay with Family

Excellent place to staybwith family. Near by nice beaches and great lake huron. Great hotel supper clean with nice pool and sauna. Firepots and nice trail for a walk. Has kids playground. Owner realy making this place be a great place to stay.
