David, the owner, was an engaging and passionate host, but gave the impression that he couldn’t be bothered to go too much beyond the expected. The room was charming! However, it’s an old building and it lacked modern amenities and the room was in an isolated part of the building. “we booked via expedia and grateful for the reduced price. Room was small, there were signs that it had been newly refurbished. the painting finish wasn’t the best, especially bathroom. there were dirty splashes on the wall and chipped paint around edges. the room , no 31 was on the main road and above the outdoor bar seating so was noisy and VERY warm . No AC. Maybe the current rating is acceptable. on arrival nail gun on reception desk and builders tools on the floor. all in all a bit...
