For the price, many positives

For a not very expensive hotel this has a great location, good view, large rooms with desk, chair and proper storage, an elevator, really nice staff, and a parking lot out back for a vehicle or scooter. Area for improvement - connecting to the wifi was not as smooth as other hotels where you connect once and then it always connects automatically. Here you've got to go through a webpage each time and there are multiple similarly named connections that make it confusing. A few times I just gave up and hotspotted my phone.

Cebu’s little gem.

I’ve stayed at Maxwell back in 2011 my experience back then made me go back again this. The staff are very friendly and the location just add icing to the cake. It’s close to everything. Plus the rates is very reasonable , I will come back again.

The employees were friendly and professional. Perhaps they could include free tea/coffee for their guests as well as toothbrushes and toothpastes or could have informed their guests upon arrival that they do not have those. Also, not to provide torn towels to their guests.

Great, except...

Everything was great except for outdated bathrooms and erratic wifi service in the room. Beds were clean and comfortable and staff was friendly. Free luggage storage, too.

Great stay.

I was very pleased with my stay. The staff were the friendliest and most accommodating. The location was convenient to food, laundry, money changer, some shopping for essentials but also is walkable to a mall. I would only recommend bathroom upgrades. They are dated and hot water in both rooms I stayed did not seem to mix hot and cold water (well). I have to switch off the hot water heater a few times as water gets scalding hot. Nevertheless, I was able to take this inconvenience given the price of the hotel. Other than that, it would have been perfect.

Good good

The location is a plus since there are several food hubs nearby. I had a comfortable stay though it really needs to be cleaned. I may say the accomodation rate is just right to the experience. No need to expect much, i’m still lucky that they have wifi in rooms.
