The pool is very nice. The young man working night Security was such a sweetheart and fun to talk to. The rooms have those squared glue down carpeting which frankly they just need to get rid of and either put Tile or a nice finish concrete like the place we stayed at the night after on San Pedro. Carpet is just gross after such a short time. Overall, it was clean, but they just have some stuff piled up in certain areas that if they would just get rid of her hide better would elevate everything closer to a five star. These are literally my only complaints. But let’s be real you don’t go to Caye Caulker to stay in your hotel room or even at your hotel too much. This place is close to everything. We would stay here again.

The room itself was nice, clean, and comfortable, and I had no complaints about the accommodations. Unfortunately, the experience was significantly affected by the staff. I found the staff to be very unfriendly, unwelcoming, and unhelpful throughout my stay. When I had questions or needed assistance, I often felt like I was inconveniencing them rather than being treated like a guest. Good customer service can make a huge difference in a resort experience, and unfortunately, that was lacking during my stay. The property itself has potential, and the room was nice, but the attitude and lack of helpfulness from the staff really took away from what could have been a much better experience.

We had a wonderful stay at La Isla Resort in Caye Caulker. The location is excellent—close to everything, especially great restaurants, making it easy to explore the area on foot. The rooms were clean and comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the large veranda—it was the perfect spot to relax and sit out of the sun while still enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re visiting Caye Caulker!
