Wonderful spacious cabanas, so cool inside with large beds and a roomy shower. The on-site restaurant was also fabulous. The staff were incredibly helpful. This north side of the Split on Caye Caulker is pristine and quiet. Town is a short hop on a golf cart and 2 min ferry ride.

Greeting when we arrived was fantastic. Room was clean, and food was good. When we booked this place it was because of the pool bar, however, what isn’t said is that the bar is only open Friday-Sunday. This should clearly be stated as we were there Sunday- Wednesday so only got it for one day.

We had the most lovely, comfortable stay! The staff were amazing! Most helpful, kind, considerate group that I’ve ever encountered. Not intrusive at all, but meet every need, request, and anticipated need. The complimentary boat ride across the split multiple times a day was soo nice. Very clean. El Ben is a beautiful, well run property. Everything about our stay was fantastic from the staff to the food to the cabanas. All the food is made from scratch - from the bread for morning toast to the fresh squeezed juice. I only gave it a 3 for amenities because that’s somewhat intentional as it’s on the north quiet side of caye caulker. If you want to relax, unplug & lay low it’s perfect. If you want to sign up for outings & adventures off site, you can do that too.

A room is clean. Staff is good but I don’t see much. A complimentary boat ride between north and south is good and exciting but it can feel a little limiting especially on Wednesdays. If you provided a booklet about the hotel facilities, amenities, activities the way to get north… that would be nicer and kinder.
