Great location, easy access to site amenities like the pool and parks, as well as Cavendish. There is a very large, unmarked hazard where the pool deck lifts but we sat nearby and kept reminding the kids. The pool water is a little cool but the kids loved it. We were able to get towels as needed and walk to a Tim Hortons and restaurant which was convenient.

The cottage was great with air conditioning and was clean. Having a dishwasher was great and a well stocked kitchen and a BBQ. Location was awesome for beaches and outdoor activities. We were missing a shower curtain and the kids playground area was a little tired but it worked for the kids. Overall, would stay again

The cottage was perfect for our family’s needs. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals. Housekeeping was available upon request, although we didn’t use the service. We simply asked for extra towels and left our tied garbage bags on the porch for pickup. The location was ideal. We loved that it was within walking distance of the beach while being tucked away from the busy main road. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend it to others looking for a quiet, convenient place to enjoy the area.

We had #102 at the Ingleside motels. It was a clean room, small. Perfect for one person or a couple. The property itself was well maintained and quiet. The only complaint I have is that there are many things about the motels that should be fixed and maintained better. Most of the red, plastic chairs were broken and the outdoor lights needed to be changed. Otherwise, our stay was great!

The motel room was spacious and clean. The room had a toaster, microwave, and hot plate for preparing meals. The cupboards had adequate dishes,cutlery,vand pots and pans. The unit was old but not in disrepair. It could use a coat of paint , however. It met our needs for the time we were there. There was a pool but we didn't have a chance to use it. An added bonus was it was in walking distance to Tim Hortons to pick up a coffee and meals.

The location was very good, the bbq on our porch was great to have, the AC worked well and rooms were spacious. The bed in main room was terribly squeaky even from the slightest movement and kept us awake. I had to buy bath towels in Walmart because the towels provided were extremely used and almost grey in color. The hot water was not enough for 4 people to shower one after another, we had to wait. We didn't have time to use the pool but it seemed nice from outside.

Positives: Very kind and helpful staff. The pool was clean. Rooms were clean. Very good location in Cavendish. Negatives: Air conditioning needed a good cleaning. It was full of black mold. The play area for the kids is so run down and unsafe. The laundry room was very dirty and the walls were covered in black mold. The entire site looked run down. In need of major TLC.

Clean comfortable and quiet with very helpful and friendly staff. They were new managers but tried their best to steer us to local sights. Paid hot breakfast eggs sausage bagels and more available for $8+tax. Recommended. Also, close to Cavendish Beach, Anne of Green Gables center and walking distance to The Lost Anchor for excellent fish n chips. The house itself has close ties to LMM's story. Recommend highly.

Location was great however we were not in Shining Waters, we were placed in their sister property called Ingleside The cabin #126 is in desperate need of repair. The cabin was on a slant, floors were uneven and no evestrough so water ran right in front doorway Our confirmation email said breakfast was included, however it was declined when we checked in because we were placed in one of the efficiencies. I know the the owners are new, we did let them know our concerns .
