Beautiful heritage hotel in an excellent location. The public parking was right next door and just a minute walk from the main city entrance. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful and the room was lovely and quiet. The terrace for breakfast was delightful. We went to their restaurant next door for dinner and it was also excellent.

We had a fabulous stay in Catania, and a big part of that was thanks to the hotel’s highly professional staff. They were attentive to all our needs while always being warm, courteous, and exceptionally polite. The hotel is a true gem, located in a strategic and convenient area. We used the public parking lot just 80 meters away, which worked perfectly. Everything was flawless. The room features a Nespresso Professional machine, which makes the stay even more enjoyable, with both regular and decaffeinated capsules provided. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. Staying here truly guarantees a high quality of life and a wonderful experience. Congratulations to the entire hotel team—they are a perfect 10/10!

A wonderful experience. This was our 3rd trip to Italy and first time to Catania. Having stayed at a dozen hotels in Italy on previous trips this was by far a superior experience. The rooms are open and large with unique stone archways from the historical construction. The rooms are modern and our room had a combo steam room/shower and separate whirlpool tub. Aside from the room and perfect location - walkable to attractions and restaurants, what makes this experience different is the staff. Celso and the entire team truly go above and beyond to ensure you have a great trip. From making restaurant suggestions and reservations, to booking transfers, to assisting with agendas and activities - they even helped us get back from the beach/Lido when we were not able to connect to a Taxi service.

Highly recommend Bastio Private Suites Hotel!

We absolutely loved our stay! It was one of the highlights of our trip. The hotel is very central in the heart of Catania, walking distance to all the major sites. The rooms are impeccable - we loved the in-room tub/jacuzzi which provided amazing relaxation after a long day at Etna. The staff are wonderful and kind. Loved our stay!

There are a number of reasons these suites are so highly rated. The manager Celso and his staff are incredibly welcoming, very well organised and go out of their way to ensure your stay is an enjoyable one. The unique, spacious rooms are finished to a very high standard with everything you will ever need. The jacuzzi is fantastic and a welcome treat after some long days exploring. The location is about 2 minutes walk from the main square, popular fish market and street food stalls. It is also very handy for the public bus terminus for other towns/airport. Breakfast selection was great and the whole building is spotless. In-room minibar is well stocked and reasonably priced. The welcome plate of cannolis were a fantastic touch and did not last long. We will definitely base ourselves at Bastiò suites on our return to Sicily.
