I enjoyed my stay here! This was my first time in St. Lucia and I wanted to be close to a city while also staying at a resort. The view is amazing, you can even spot Martinique when it’s clear! The staff is very friendly I would carry conversations with people days later and I felt safe as a solo young woman. For meal options, I definitely prefer their local options such as the curry chicken, stew lamb, fish, rice and beans etc. it is so flavorful and I encourage the hotel to KEEP THOSE COMING! I would sunbathe often, please remember to wear sunscreen! It is smaller and on top of a hill so please be mindful especially in the rain. They provide a complimentary shuttle which is about a 10 min or so drive to the Central Market (souvenir stall & grocery store) close to KFC and other nice places.

I loved a majority of the staff. Kidada, Brendan, Macc, Bella, Janet, Quincy, and many more were very nice and helpful during my stay. The only thing I didn’t like was that it felt like the drinks were watered down but the food and service were great.

Our stay at the Bel Jou was wonderful. Our room was modern, clean, and in perfect working order. Outdoor dining was lovely and the food was plentiful and delicious (each night featured a different international cuisine, buffet style; made to order omlettes at breakfast were the best). The two pools were clean and WARM at all times. All inclusive drinks were FLOWING at all times and the staff went above and beyond to get to know us and our preferences - everyone was joyous and friendly. Night time events and activities were planned by a very talented and creative staffer. We had a good time with the other mature resort patrons. The Bel Jou was a lovely place to getaway to and we would definitely visit this resort again.

When we arrived; it wasn’t a computer check in but we were given paper forms to fill out. The hotel had two pools but no beach. There were no any entertainment activities but on occasion; there was a “DJ” that played some “CDs” music. The food was mediocre; not enough variety to choose from. You had to pay for bottled water. Overall; I feel as if I was staying in a retreat; not a hotel.On the positive side; the staff were nice and the rooms were clean.

What started out as a shaky beginning to my stay at Bel Jou was quickly turned around by the thoughtfulness, professionalism, and accommodating attitude of the onsite manager, Dean. His willingness to listen and address my concerns made a noticeable difference to the overall experience. From that point on, the stay became much more enjoyable. The atmosphere shifted to a relaxed and welcoming vibe, allowing me to settle in, unwind, and truly enjoy what Bel Jou had to offer n they did have lots to offer. The highlight was the Thursday evening BBQ. Foood. Drinks and a great atmosphere. A special thank you to Dean for his genuine hospitality and for going the extra mile to ensure that what could have been a disappointing experience became a memorable and enjoyable stay.

My husband and I loved staying here!! Anytime we come back to St Lucia we will stay there. Staff does an excellent job with their hospitality. We loved having the option to take the shuttle to town, the beach, and the street party. Only downside is that the buffet didn’t have much variety and the lunch menu also has the same problem but the food is really good so it made up for it!!

Bel Jou was a beautiful property. Staff was helpful but in no rush to go out of their way to help you. The food was ok. Typical all inclusive food. No where to get snacks on the resort so pack your own Not much to do but relax. The shuttle was helpful to go to the beach and Castries market for shopping. Very peaceful and tranquil. If you just want to relax great place - no kids , super quiet. I would say it was beautiful but wouldn’t rate it wonderful.
