Sweet historic hotel in beautiful Nelson, BC. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I enjoyed dinner and a spa treatment at the property in addition to staying overnight, and everything was top notch. Looking forward to a return visit!

Our stay at the Hume hotel was absolutely lovely. The staff were so welcoming, kind and sincere. The location was perfect with easy access to the waterfront, dog park and shops. We had our pup along and the staff went out of their way to spoil him. We had dinner in the Library restaurant at the hotel- the meal was delicious, and the ambiance was fantastic. We really loved our time here!

Check in was quick and efficient, rooms are beautiful, restored with all the details. The HUME is located amongst all the activity and easy to go enjoy the waterfront with a short walk/bike, with minimal elevation changes. All your food and beverage needs are within the establishment. Even if your room is above the bar, and you’re a good sleeper, no worries!! Will stay again!

What a fantastic "old school" hotel. Well situated right downtown, everything is in walking distance. The Library Bar is a must see. What a great throwback bar with a great vibe. Mike's pub is great for a beer and watching the game (the Elk won!). The menu is the same, regardless which of the 3 dining rooms you sit at. Would highly recommend, and will stay here again.

We loved this beautiful hotel! Love that it has such character and is decorated so nicely. Very convenient to have two restaurants and a pub attached (we ate in the dining room twice and went the pub for a beer). Nelson is a lovely town, and this hotel is very conveniently located. It is noted on their website that they do not have parking but there is a city parkade right next door, and it was not expensive at all. Will definitely come back!
