Ok, well because you only get one chance to make a first impression, I would say "Get you hall carpets cleaned!" I think it's been months since they have been cleaned. The reception area and the breakfast areas are very, very well taken care of so it bewilders me why they have left the carpets in the halls so filthy. Other then that the breakfast was very good and well maintained, the staff was very nice and accommodating. I feel it was a little too pricey for what you get so I would rate it a 7/10. Oh yes, one other thing. The hotel was only at about 30% capacity and we were assigned a room on the 2nd floor way down at the end of a hallway. ??

2nd time we have stayed, would recommend. The room was spacious and clean, staff were very friendly and polite. The hotel is older but it’s clean, the beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is good.

Love these older motels that have been renovated. Nice, new, clean rooms with large rooms that older style motels used to have. I love being able to park directly in front of my room. Plenty of parking spaces. Breakfast was plentiful and staff were very pleasant. We were going to stay in Nelson but decided to drive down the road a bit. Glad we did. Great price. Great place.

Perfect place to stop when travelling crows nest with dog. Convenient rooms with direct outside access. Fantastic dog park in Castlegar! Water pressure in shower was amazing!!! Perfect after a long day on the road.
