We were a group of 6, ranging in age from 2 to 65, and everyone really enjoyed our stay. The kids especially had a great time playing foosball in the main building. The place is very comfortable and has a beautiful, scenic location surrounded by the mountains. The location is excellent and very convenient for visiting the main attractions. With kids, we found it much better to stay here than in Canmore, as it made getting around to the attractions much easier. The room was comfortable overall, although the carpet could use a good cleaning. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend this place, especially for families with kids.

Perfectly located, beautiful setting!!! Our cabin was clean and comfortable with cute and very efficient kitchen. Too warm for the fireplace, but it was all set and ready to go if weather turned cooler. Staff was excellent! Little store had a very nice selection of items! Highly recommend a stay here!!!!!

We had an excellent stay at Castle Mountain Chalets and absolutely loved the place. Everything was incredibly clean, well-maintained, and exceeded our expectations. The only downside to note is the proximity to the railway track, as train noise can be noticeable. Overall, it is a fantastic property and we would highly recommend it!

The cabin was dated along with the furnishings but it was extremely clean and the beds were comfortable. It is about a 25 minute drive to Banff and Lake Louise and we had an awesome grizzly encounter right down the road on 1A with 3 grizzlies. The staff are great. There is a small grocery store that has essentials, beer, wine and the creamer you will need for your morning coffee provided.

Everything is perfectly presented. Staff are super nice. Kitchen is well equipped and more than we needed for. Wish the weather is cold enough for using fireplace, which is well stocked and ready to fire. Had an urge to lighten the fire but not. The only downside is the the frequent train whistle during the night, which has nothing to do with the lodge other than the location. We enjoyed the view from the back window when trains passed up and down the mountain. The night trains however made the interruption of sleep, 1 am; 2:30 am, 4 and 5:30 am. Boy it was Ok for two nights while I was tired and the next three nights? It became a nuisance

We truly enjoyed our stay at Castle Mountain chalets. It was very clean and had all the amenities we could need. I love the smell of the handwash, body wash, etc. I would have loved to see it in their shop for purchase. (Speaking of which the shop and gas are far over priced.) We used the kitchen for every meal and the only thing I would say was that the carrot peeler was very dull, Lol. We had a 2 bedroom bungalow and one son even slept on the pull-out in the living room and it was surprisingly comfortable compared to others we've tried. The one warning, that we weren't warned about, is that there is a train that goes by very close by and very regularly at all hours of the day and night. I personally didn't hear them but my husband and one son really struggled with falling and staying asleep. Ear plugs are provided but nobody likes wearing them to sleep. All-in-all we loved our stay and would return.

the last time we visited, we were i guess lucky to get a good cabin and made great memories, which was the reason we returned the same time this year too. but this was totally unexpectedly awful. The space was less, mosquitoes everywhere, bathroom was awkward and bathtub could barely fit any human. Actually getting into the washroom required effort to make space for your ownself. I dont know how this space was eligible to accommodate 4 people. this was cabin #13. I am not going back again.

The cabins are comfortable, well-equipped, and very convenient, and the location itself is beautiful. The only downside was discovering that there is a railroad crossing right next to the property. Trains passed frequently and sounded their horns very loudly, which was especially disruptive during the night. We were not informed in advance that the cabins were located so close to the railroad crossing. Had we known this beforehand, it would have been a significant factor in our decision to book, as the noise had a noticeable impact on our stay.
