“Can’t say enough good things about this property! The location on the lake is fabulous and it is on the way to Connemara National Park and the coast. The two sitting rooms with fireplaces were a welcome refuge after a day of hiking and sightseeing . We were able to walk by the lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery. “Es un hotel pintoresco y muy distinto a todo. No es en si un castillo sino una casona antigua que fue adaptada en 1969 como hotel dándole una apariencia de castillo. Las habitaciones muy buenas y hermosas pero las áreas comunes, estancias y pasillos requieren ya de un mantenimiento mayor.”

“Clean and quiet lodge great for anyone looking for a peaceful stay. A 10 minute walk into the town and a 20 minute bus ride to Connemara National Park which was absolutely stunning. The breakfast was quite good as well for a buffet style arrangement, able to have a full Irish if you so please as well as fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, and oatmeal. The staff were very accommodating as there were huge delays with the rails and a missed train the day we arrived and we didn't get in until after 8 pm...
