I had a 2nd floor, Silver level room. The toilet and shower were very cramped and the bathroom is old. The shower door did not close properly. The room was neat and clean. I had a partial view of the Mosque out my window, otherwise the view was onto old apartments. Food was okay. Noise level is average to poor. Staff were good. Restaurant service (dinner) is "African time" (not rushed). Location is great for mosque and walking distance to Old City area, Ricks Cafe and Sqala Restaurant/Cafe.

Big hotel close to the Mosque II. Rooms were spacious, breakfast buffet available, bathroom needed maintenance as did the curtains but generally very comfortable with good housekeeping staff. The kitchenette was deficit in equipment which made the utilisation void. Make sure to go to the mosque early as 'bus-loads' of tourist turn up soon after 9:30am - first tour begins at 9. The tour is well worth taking.
