This hotel was very beautiful. The best thing about it was the view of the rock formations and the Ocean. The pool area is very nice as well. The staff were also very attentive and friendly. I wanted to give a shout out to Marlin a worker at the hotel. He went above and beyond our expectations and was very helpful with everything and he was fun to be around. He is very good at his job! Thank you.

The property is not in Portimao but where it is located is absolutely perfect, walking distance to cliffs and beaches, beautiful sky bar, all to experience sunsets. And, whether you walk left or right out of the property, so many restaurants!

We discovered the Tivoli Carvoeiro last summer and loved it so much that we came back for a second stay this year—and it was just as incredible as we remembered. The hotel is even more beautiful in person than it is in the pictures, with breathtaking views, a gorgeous setting, and such a special atmosphere. It truly feels like a little piece of paradise for our family. We had another wonderful stay and will definitely be back for a third time one day. Highly recommend!

The property was beautiful and very picturesque. The area around the property was very nice and safe and and short walk to variety of restaurants. Now the negatives- the pool water was freezing and not useful. The environment was very sterile. No sound or noise. Great for reading a book but not enjoying a pool environment. The service delays were long. We would go to carvoeiro agin but not the tivoli.

The restaurants and pool area were absolutely spectacular. Nothing can beat the views. However the rooms were lacking. The beds were very uncomfortable and the deluxe room was smaller than expected. The rooms and hallways could use an upgrade.

Our stay was nothing short of spectacular. We had a magnificent view of the cliffs overlooking the beach and the swimming pool from the terrace of our room, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was elegant, varied and quite delicious. We could not have been more pleased and plan on gifting a trip here to our son for a honeymoon.
