The new manager is obviously still learning things but went above and beyond to make our rough check In experience better and upgraded our room to a suite because of the hassle. I would say that the stairs could use cleaning, the room we stayed in was very nice and clean! Definitely an older hotel but wasn’t a horrible experience! Just rough at first, the rest of the stay was fine!

When we checked in the pool was not open. And the pool did not re open till 30 minutes before our check out. Our son was looking forward to swimming and was very bummed out.
This was the worst motel I’ve ever stayed in. The room wasn’t ready, no TP or towels in the bathroom. The breakfast was unbelievable. The manager brought a spoon of eggs at a time, and placed them in a pan, then brought 2 or 3 sausages at a time with tongs and put them in a pan. It was not even safe to eat. I think this motel should be reported to the health department!
They didn't have the hot breakfast like they said and they had some a couple weeks in the roof in the main entrance and a couple doors broken on the premises
Common areas we very dirty and unkept. Rooms were okay except for AC was set at 66F and would change and we froze all not, finally shut it completely off then was hot in an hour. No free breakfast there was nothing in there except some cheerios

KAYLA THE DESK. CLERK WAS GREAT..was excellent. What im Guessing was the manager was very accommodating to our requests.
...only petty thing was better stocking of bathroom.
The run property is run down and dirty. The receptionist sent us to three different rooms before we found a "clean" room. The other rooms had other people's luggage and unmade beds and dirty bathrooms. The receptionist complained to another coworker the this happens regularly (her list of "clean" rooms are not actually clean). Our "clean" room was in poor shape. There are tears in the carpet, stains on bedding, and in overall poor condition. We ended up going to Walmart and purchasing our own bedding to use.
This hotel needs much more work than just rebranding.
The room was clean. The coffee pot had no tray to put the filter in to make coffee. Went down to the the tray they didn't have one. Beds were comfortable. Nice 🚿 great water pressure.
Very disappointing. We were the only customers there so felt unsafe. Rooms were depressing and beds were horrible. Orange juice was watered down. Will never stay there again. I thought it was a Best Western from years ago but Quality inn has now taken it over. There is no quality.
People just hanging around the door ways. Room had runs in the carpet, drapes were torn, rats eating our unopened chips and crackers, hallway spelled like pee, shower curtain bar was installed backwards, so the shower curtain would cling to you instead of giving you extra room, every time we left our room and came back we had to go to the front desk to get it reactivated. I was there for 10 days.
I find the Precious Hotel to be quite adequate, but I guess the eggs and sausage are Monday through Friday only. I had to beat the Arctic freeze, so I checked in on a Friday night and Saturday morning meant slim pickings (a couple of mini muffins) for breakfast. The coffee in the breakfast room tasted like tree bark, so I grabbed a few creamers for in-room coffee only to find that all 4 packets in my room were decaf, while most places provide 2 leaded and 2 unleaded. That's no way to start a 12-hour drive to coastal Texas. But as long as the price on Expedia stays where it is (or close), it's my half-way stop between The Lone Star State and America's Dairyland.
Upon checking in, there were two other couples that were checking in and both by the time I was at the counter came back stating that their keys did not work for the room. We got our keys and headed to the room.. got to the door.. Opened it... And there were people hanging out on Their Room!!! Mortifying to say the least! So we were graciously given a different room by a manager thankfully.. The place itself is stinky.. it has a lot of "trying to clean it or use something to cover up another smell, but then becomes something even worse" type of a situation.. we were there two mornings and each morning we had someone come by to knock on the door to see if we were there or not... Very interesting. The "breakfast" was pretty much non-existent and very very lackluster. So... Yeah.. you get what you pay for.
