They do not let you bring in guests that were not accounted for when you booked in. So you can't meet anyone and bring them to your room or on the premises. Anyone and everyone that comes has to wear a plastic wrist ban that you can not take off at anytime, even to shower or else you will pay a fine. So its a very strict dorm style. Then there are cockroaches everywhere. Even though they come to take care of them, the roaches still fill your floors, bathroom, bedroom, living room, kitchen counters. They are everywhere. Amazing view and they where nice about letting me check in early. Other then that everything else was horrific.

This property is equipped with your daily needs as if you were at home away from home. Easy check in and check out. Also there’s security 24/7 and it’s a very safe area. This property is very centric so everything is nearby and you can walk around to explore your surroundings. The apartment itself is super spacious and luxurious.

This was an excellent experience. Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. The building felt very safe and secure with restricted access to guests only and the entrance/front of the building was monitored day and night. I enjoyed staying here far more than the experience I had at a 5 star hotel two blocks away. The next time I visit this place will be my first choice for a place to stay.

Apartment was exactly as described. Great view directly across from the beach, very clean, check-in was a breeze and communication was SUPER responsive. Grocery store, mall and restaurants were close by within walking distance. Would stay here again without any hesitation!!

I loved everything about the property. It was such an amazing experience to stay here because of the views, the pools and how everything was at a walking distance. Honestly I’m beyond impressed with the cleanliness, quiet and how beautiful it was. If I ever come back to Cartagena again I will definitely stay here. I highly recommend to anyone to stay here at the hotel in Cartagena. Overall the staff U-go was very good with the communication.

I loved staying at the Murano! Andrea was helpful and straight to the point. The unit was clean big and felt like I was at home. The view was amazing and close to the beach and taxi and restaurant. The pool was nice it had an amazing view. I had a wonderful stay and it made me want to stay longer, I highly recommend staying here easy to get in and no problems at all. 24 hours security who are always friendly. I will be back again ❤️

Absolutely beautiful views from the balcony, rooftop pool is stunning. Honestly, I spent 5 amazing days in Cartagena and it may have been worth it just for the accommodations alone. My family all picked staying at the Murano Elite as one of; if not their favorite part of the vacation, which is saying something. I’ve been to 15-16 countries at this point and for the price it’s being offered, this may have been the best hotel experience I’ve had out of all those years of trips. It’s right across from the beach, which is great even if it’s the busy one with all the annoying vendors. Grocery store, even a damn 3-level shopping mail complete with a movie theatre right nearby. Very safe area, easy to walk to anything you might need and just a short Uber/taxi from the Walled City. Highly highly highly recommend staying here!

The building is in a location a few steps from the "plaza boca grande" shopping center and less than 5 minutes by car from the city center. We stayed in a two bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment, as a couple with a few months old baby. They provided us with a cot for the baby and we had no surprises on the price paid in advance. Contact with the apartment management has always been excellent. everything was perfect, we appreciated the cleanliness, the location, the quality in every detail. The property has a rooftop swimming pool with a 360-degree view of the city.

Avoid at all Cost!

I rented this apartment on Hotels.com for 4-days, 3-nights for 4 people. When I arrived the personnel first claimed that they did not have any reservations for me (shake-down starts). I showed documentation that I have reservations for 4-days, 3-nights, 4 people but they continued to deny I held reservations. After about 45 minutes they “mysteriously” acknowledged I held reservations, but it was for 2 people (shake down continues). They demanded to see additional documentation. Being in a foreign country (Colombia) calling hotels.com is expensive (800 does not mean free). I have called Hotels.com in the past from Colombia and Hotels.com is impossible to get a live person at any reasonable length of time (actually, on a previous occasion at a different hotel I was on hold for over 40 minutes and finally hung up – was required to pay long-distance charges). Also, I could not access the hotels.com website from Colombia (who knows why – politics?). So, I contacted my daughter (my expense – more $$$ in foreign calling) and she screen shot every piece of documentation available to show the reservations were made for 4-people (not the 2 claimed in the shake down). Still the apartment people would not budge. Skipping a lot of back and forth, but it took over 2 hours to register and I took the apartment because: 1. It was a non-refundable reservation (and I understand why they list it that way now), and 2.) due to scheduling the 3rd person world not arrive until the next
