This hotel is beautiful and decorated to a high standard. We loved the breakfast in the mornings and cocktails in the evenings. The rooms were spacious and amazing. The bed was very comfortable

The Junior Suite was probably one of the nicest hotel rooms anywhere that i have stayed in. I am also a Hotel GM in Canada and loved my stay here. The Hotel is very nice.

this is a fabolous hotel if you appreciate design and comfort. I wish I had booked a larger room but other than that my stay was thoroughly enjoyable

Beautiful boutique hotel with great staff. They have nice cocktails at the bar. The design of the hotel is stunning. The street is very busy and noise whole evening.

The staff was exceptional. Very attentive and sociable. The manager saw to everything he promised and exceeded my expectations. Excellent food… dine in, poolside or in the room. I was very impressed. Pool could use a little maintenance on the tiles but otherwise highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel but noisy

Beautiful property and rooms! The only setback is that is located in a busy area at the walled city. We stayed just one night and we couldn’t sleep well because of the noise outside during the night.

The hotel is lovely and the staff is also super helpful. If you planning to stay here be aware that this hotel is beyond noisy. It felt like sleeping on the street. They need to do something about the noise - triple glassing, ear plugs in every room, anything

The welcome on arrival lacked any warmth and it felt like we were disturbing the member of staff. Room was very clean, comfortable and a lovely design, but incredibly dark with unnecessarily complicated light controls. Lovely rooftop area with amazing views. Breakfast service was a little slow at times, but the food was plentiful and delicious. Ate once in the restaurant for lunch and again the food was delicious. Very convenient location in the heart of the old town, so walkable to most areas of interest.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and was completely satisfied with our stay. We choose one of the suite to stay in with a private jacuzzi, balcony and corner view. The staff was excellent, attentive, hospitable and efficient. The gastronomy and mixology for a hotel was delightful. The intimate rooftop was perfect to enjoy for small setting with full sun throughout the day. The hotel is located centrally in the heart of the action which was perfect for us. Gets a little noisy at night until closing but didn't bother us. Very spacious room with high ceilings, with new upgrades and vintage character. Definitely will stay here again when we visit the area as a choice. Thank you..!

First the staff. They were stellar. Everything from the Manager handling correspondence between WhatsApp or the booking sites. Did nothing except make me feel informed. He help me get a driver to & from the airport, which was wonderful. I could’ve booked any excursion or activity through them as well. We just did her own thing. The boutique hotel is so special. The decor is fabulous. The rooms are so chic and cool. We took a small room the first night and interior room, nice and quiet and the showers. Every detail is special, Little trouble with elevator, but that’s it. We really wanted the Jacuzzi room with the balcony so we switch for the second two nights and that room was amazing. The way they took the old style of whatever the building was and transformed. It was so special. The Jacuzzi was great. They keep it halfway and fill it when you’re ready. The tiles were a little rough, but you wouldn’t expect that after so many years. Clean as could be though. The Jets didn’t work great, but it didn’t matter to us. It was more Time together. If you are in an exterior room, you will hear noise from 4 PM until 4 AM. There is some quiet moments in between while the rest of the city is eating or dancing. When you’re in the interior room, you will have nothing, light sleepers consider We end up eating two dinners at the hotel. We almost felt like we didn’t wanna go anywhere else to eat because the food was so good… just explore the city because there’s such great food there.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Casona del Colegio along with the rest of our wedding party. The hotel manager Mr. Rojas and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to coordinate our wedding party and make our stays memorable. Never had such a warm and welcoming experience at any other hotel quite like how Mr. Rojas and his staff treated us during our entire stay. The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located near all the best restaurants, nightlife, shopping and close to the docks for day trips to the islands. The hotel lobby, pool, and common areas were clean and chic. The hotel rooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant and bar were both great as well. The hotel was secure and had a doorman greet us every time we entered. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you again Mr. Rojas!

We had a wonderful stay. The property is so convenient to all the sights of the walled city. The staff were incredibly friendly. The room was clean, comfortable, with luxury amenities. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool one afternoon which was incredible! If we find ourselves back in cartagena will definitely stay here.

This hotel was amazing. Staff was great, attentive and friendly. Rooms were phenomenal. The hotel was clean. Food was good. Everything was awesome. But, outside our room was party until late hours every night and cabs honking non stop. Bring ear plugs and you’ll love it.
