I really like this hotel. I have stayed here three times since I started visiting Cartagena and each stay has been better than the last one. The location is in the center of the old city and you could not ask for it to be better. The staff is top-notch and go out of their way to make your experience enjoyable. The rooms are a little smaller (admittedly I do not stay in the larger ones) but the hotel size itself makes up for it. I appreciate them more and more every time I stay in Cartagena.

Lovely, stylish hotel that felt like home for 4 nights. Great location in the middle of Cartagena’s action, coolly converted house with a wonderful lounge. Very comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Nice rooftop pool and loungers. And it didn’t feel at all corporate or formulaic. Nice friendly staff and decent breakfast. No bar but they’ll bring you a drink in the lounge or on the balcony. Recommended by a fussy, style-conscious traveller!

We could not have asked for a better location to stay in Cartagena in the Old City. The hotel was constructed in the 1500’s. Beautiful beamed ceilings and marble floors. The room was very comfortable. Small bistro tables on the terrace overlooking all the activities on the street in the evenings. So many restaurants to choose from. Definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent Hotel Right in City Center

Hotel’s location is excellent as you can walk anywhere and there are several excellent restaurants nearby. It’s in a very good condition, there’s an air conditioning and a separate ceiling fan. Breakfast was pretty good and the staff is very friendly. The old town can be pretty busy at all times, but our room 401 was very quiet.
