Great location within walking distance to key points in the city and nightlife. Be aware hotel does not accommodate extra persons if not done during booking. Clean facilities. They offer breakfast for a few however central to many amazing restaurants. Cute balcony

Hotel Santa Cecilia was perfect for my time in Cartagena. It's a very easy walk to the walled city and just a block or two from the charms of Getsemani. I was glad to have this quiet hotel to come "home" to. The staff was excellent and my room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was great! I would definitely stay here again

Wonderful stay!

I am so glad I stayed at this hotel! It was perfectly located, there was someone at the front desk 24/7, and the room and bed were very comfortable. The shower had strong hot water and the free breakfast each morning was delightful. Very friendly staff, too!

Great Hotel Near the Walled City in Cartagena!

I traveled to Cartagena with my family and wanted to stay close to the Walled City. The location is only a few steps away to the walled city restaurants, shops, artisans, places of interest, and a beautiful exceptional view from our room window. The staff is very friendly, the place is impeccably clean, the room is a good size, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are beautiful, the room has a small fridge very convenient, and room service is bringing in new towels every day. It was a great experience. The only thing that I would recommend is if you can't sleep with noise, know that around the wall city and its surroundings there's always party buses going by and bars going on until late. If you have a good attitude and don't mind, just make it part of your trip experience. :)

After initially being offered the room below the stairs and with no windows, it took a bit of time to sort out and get the room with the windows The service after that was good and breakfast as well As I had very little good experience with the staying in Cartagena, must congratulate the first hotel that we stayed as amazing and the breakfast, the staff etc, San Lazaro , the rest I would not choose again

The hotel is well located. Rooms are good size, comfortable bed, and very clean. Staff is friendly and good breakfast. It's just the hotel, though. No pool or big lobby or anything.

The hotel is perfect to stay if you are doing activities around Cartagena in the day and just sleep at night. Room was great, staff perfect very gentle and kind. I consider my room could have more ventilation since there was no windows to the exterior. Other than that stay was perfect. Breakfast top, prepared at the moment.

Very bad experience in this hotel. They do not allow any guests in the room at all and will have security prevent them even if they offer to register to the room. This is the only place I have been around the world that will not even let someone register and pay. Ridicuous policy, i had to go to pay for another hotel in a different part of the city.

Great Location! We did 3 tours and the meeting point was no more than 10 minutes away (walking) every time. I do recommend bringing ear plugs and this is for ANY WHERE in Cartagena. They have a lot of party buses and no matter where you stay you'll hear them and the street noise. We were lucky and got an interior room BUT we could still hear the buses. Also, just be conscious of the mini bar charges. We took 1 Red Bull and at checkout they wanted to charge us for 2, we had to fight it but in the end we had to only pay for one but when we did they claimed to have "no change" and wanted to pocket 20 pesos. Instead we went outside bought a coffee, got change and gave them the exact amount. Also, I don't recommend having them "call" a driver for the airport. Their driver charges about 60-70 pesos while a taxi charged us 20 pesos. Their breakfast was really good too. Would stay here again, the room was very clean and modern.
