Hotel is next to a club. It can be pretty loud at night and kinda hard to get some sleep. The deadbolt on the door also didn’t work me personally I like to be able to lock the door when I travel just for my safety and I wasn’t comfortable, staying in a hotel where I can’t lock the door.

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff is very helpful and kind. There is a rustic cozy and elegant ambiance. The furniture is an antique style that I love. The decor is very nice. The breakfast is very nice and the space where you dine for breakfast is refreshing. The options are very healthy and even the bacon taste light. The pool is simple and small yet perfect. It’s never crowded. The hotel itself doesn’t have many rooms but if you’re fortunate enough to get one, you’ll be very happy that you did. The one con I’d mention is that it’s located directly across from a popular place that plays very loud music into the early morning so that could potentially be an issue if you have a problem with that. For us, it was not an issue. The location of the hotel is also perfect. It’s pretty much center city and right across the road from Getsemane (I’m sure I misspelled the name) but stay there. It’s a wonderful hotel!

My wife and I loved our stay at Casa DiLuca. The room was beautiful and spacious with a walk-in wardrobe and a huge bathroom. The staff were lovely, and so helpful (especially Brenda and Antonio who helped arrange an anniversary surprise for my wife) and we loved the boutique feel of the hotel. Alfredo the chef was great too and made delicious breakfast each morning. The hotel is in the perfect location to explore the old city and beyond on foot. We would stay here again.

Loved this hotel

This a beautiful boutique hotel, friendly and helpful staff/Chef. No elevator so just be ready for stairs to go to room, dining room and rooftop pool. We really enjoyed the pool after a long day of walking in the Cartagena weather (hot and humid). Staying in the walled city is the best and this hotel is super well located.

Hotel was nice… not Great but nice. Breakfast was included but it was a total disappointment, an hr before bfast was over the buffet hot items were empty… not a great assortment. Ended up eating out the next two mornings. Room was comfortable and clear. Pool was disappointing too This Hotel is good if your are only going in to sleep. Not many amenities, TV had issues when we wanted to use it.

We were thrilled with this casa … & the staff. Inside the walled city. Walk to everything plus 3 blocks away (just outside the wall) is getsemani neighborhood with colorful umbrella, kite & flag streets. The perfect place - we highly recommend it! ❤️

The property needs a lot maintenance, the photos that you see are well edited and does not show all the stains and wholes in the walls, they were doing costruccion the whole time we were there, the breakfast was not good, the almond milk was expired, the staff were not attentive and the food was ok. The hotel it’s located next to two big night clubs therefore it’s super noise and a lot of people sitting outside of the hotel. The view from the pool deck was awesome but I will not come back to this hotel again.

Beautiful! This property has the classic elegance of Colombia in the highest regard. The hotel is well kept and very clean. The white decore makes you feel like you are truly in a South American country verses a commercial franchise establishment. Very central and near many amenities. I would definitely stay there again and again. The pool is on the top floor and offers amazing views and an opportunity to see the sun set. Must be able to manage stairs with ease as there are many.

Unfortunately the property is located close to three different bars/ clubs. You will not be able to sleep due to noise, music extremely loud and you hear everyone passing by. I requested a change of room and it was denied. Wouldn’t recommend. Hotel is pretty, cozy, friendly staff and clean.

Look no further!!!

Look no further! After my nth time in Cartagena, I ended up finding a gem in a City full of multiple hospitality options. Casa DiLuca Boutique Hotel is located within the Wall City (everything is around), its full of splendor! They thought of the most minimal detail (the decor, the table settings, the slippers, the water bottle dress,, etc). I arrived early (from a red-eye) and the very nicely accommodated a 10am check-in free of charge. The breakfast included multiple local options (even beef soup for hangover!!) and american style dishes. The rooftop bar had a wonderful view of the city whose ruins captivate your imagination (the drinks were savory!). Nothing sets apart a great from a nightmare experience like the quality of its staff. The Manager (Jaime) has an amazing team end-to-end. From the reception to the kitchen staff to the bar - everyone was so wonderful and accommodated us as if we were royalty! I had a personal package that did not arrive before checkin and they even mailed it out for me. Words aren’t enough to convince anyone of how AMAZING this hotel is. I can’t wait to be back to my favorite City and stay another turn. Thanks to Jaime, Diomedez , Carmen and Daniel (the chef) for an unforgettable stay and making me feel so special.

The property is a charming and picturesque small hotel located in the heart of the walled city. However, it’s important to note that the maintenance and overall condition of the property are not up to the highest standards. We arrived early and, as expected, the room was not yet ready—this was not an issue. We left our bags at the front desk and went out to eat while we waited. Upon returning, we were assigned a room on the first floor, directly behind the reception area. Unfortunately, the room faced the street and was extremely humid with a strong moldy odor. We immediately returned to the front desk to express our concerns. We even offered to pay extra for an upgraded or alternative room, but were told the hotel was fully booked and there was nothing they could do. All rooms are equipped with a dehumidifier and air conditioning, so our only option was to keep both running continuously. We also requested a plug-in air freshener to help manage the odor. A notable issue occurred during our stay: one night, a maintenance staff member asked us to turn off the air conditioning so they could recharge the gas—this was both inconvenient and uncomfortable. Security is another concern. The rooms use traditional house keys instead of key cards, which do not allow for access tracking—a standard feature in most modern hotels. On a positive note, the breakfast exceeded our expectations. It included fresh fruits, a variety of baked items, eggs made to order, fresh juices.
