The property is stunning and luxurious! Ivan the property manager was graceful and friendly, making us feel at home. He was incredibly attentive and prompt. The staff was very attentive and eager to assist with any request. I strongly recommend staying at least two nights. The day parties are lively and full of energy.

The resort is a great mix - daytrippers come in by boat in the AM, party until 3 pm; VIP party private boats party until 4:30; after, the resort is very peaceful and romantic. Sunsets around 6 pm are beautiful. The rooms are basic but more than enough given you only really will be sleeping in them - comfortable beds, AC, no insects. Special remarks for the service at the resort - truly incredible, in particular Jorge and Paola. All staff were incredibly accommodating and always around when we had any questions.

Highly recommend staying at Bora Bora!! It was me and my partners first time in Colombia, and I chose for us to stay at Bora Bora for a few days! The beach club is beautiful! Everyone was very attentive and made sure me and my partner wanted for nothing! Special shout out to Fernando and Camilo! They made us feel so special! And Jorge he is the manager- he also made us feel special! He helped arrange transportation to and from the island! And made the checkout process so smooth! You definitely need to book Bora Bora when you visit Cartagena!

An absolute MUST overnight trip

We stayed at Bora Bora for an overnight on our Cartagena trip and it was worth every second. The staff are top notch, accommodating our food allergies as well as setting up a fresh lobster lunch from the local fisherman. The rooms are very comfortable with great AC. The vibe is fun and friendly with music pumping throughout the day. The evening is super special. That's when all the day trippers have gone and only the few overnight guests remain. It's like you have your own private resort! Swimming in the sea is dreamy and then relaxing on your own beach bed with a nice cocktail made by the fabulous bartender, Luifer, is the icing on the cake. Extra special thanks to Brian who took excellent care of us. Can't wait to visit again!

The hotel and amenities are great after 3pm the day parties ends and the 6 rooms that are on the resort become quiet and you get to relax the rest of the evening. It is not a party location after 3pm.the staff is amazing and very attentive and welcoming.

The staff were great! Camillo, Javier, and Catalina were AWESOME! The property is fine, however the communication was not great. Lining up transportation was very limited and not transparent. The English/Spanish translation was difficult at times as well. I would definitely stay here again, but I would setup my own transportation next time.
