The restaurant next door has music on the weekend til about midnight then goes off then the club behind the hotel goes until about 2am so you will hear music. Other then that 2 yrs this has been my spot no issue hopefully none in the future currently visiting once a month for 3 days the last year

Traveled Solo to Cartagena for a wedding. Felt safe. It was a little uneasy to find initially. The address in Uber brought me a different place but upon arrival the stay was very convenient. In the center of it all. Would stay again for the location and staff was friendly

No hot water and you are charged extra if you bring a guest to your room and no food at all. Only one vending machine. It was clean and in good location.

The area of filled with criminals looking to rob every gringo they can. I recommend hiring pvt security to walk around. One guy offered me a masaje with chica linda with (unusable word) todo right in front of my girl, then called me (another word I can’t use) when I said no. This was right outside the lobby. Everyone selling hats and cigars all offer (white powder, can’t use real word) too, the city is a dump, skip it for Santa Marta.

Moved out after one night. Worst hotel I've stayed in. First room they put me in was basically a cupboard with NO WINDOWS. (Apparently most of the rooms are windowless). Got a change of room with a window. Outdated and broken furniture, partially functioning a/c, threadbare towels, no toiletries, broken toilet seat and worst of all stained bedlinen and bedbugs. The communal area was right outside (who thought of this stupid idea?) resulting in unacceptable noise levels from a group of guests late in to the night. When I told them that it was 1am and I was trying to sleep I received a torrent of homophobic and racial (anti-white, yes it is racism) abuse and violent threats. Complained to the receptionist about the other guests but she wasn't interested and basically ignored me. Some money (although only loose change) went missing from my bag when I left my luggage while I waited for them to change my room. Though I can't prove anything, the disappearance of the cash and the threats from the other guests made me feel unsafe. Moved to another hotel and chalking this up to experience.

Staff doesn’t speak a lick of English but that’s okay, they are nice, beautiful, and helpful; Ruby was great! I can see what people mean by the importance acquiring particular rooms, because if you get one by the balcony there will be noise pollution because the hotel is located right in the mix of things. The room I had did not have that issue though.

Es un hotel básico recomendado para solo llegar a dormir. Muy bien ubicado cerca de muchos lugares de interés, puedes llegar caminando fácilmente a restaurantes, a la plaza de santo Domingo donde peina Ross, a Getzemani, a la catedral, el muelle de la bodeguita etc Camas cómodas, almohadas cómodas, televisión funciona bien al igual que el aire acondicionado, el frigobar bien también. No hay llave de agua caliente en la regadera, por las tardes el agua es tibia y soportable, pero por las mañanas es complicado adaptarse al agua fría. Lo malo es que no hay elevador y debes cargar tus maletas por las escaleras y no vi que hubiera botones para que te ayudarán con el equipaje, en mi check out una recamarera se apiadó de mi y me ayudó con una maletita jejeje. En general bien, lo recomiendo y sin duda regresaría
