Friendly staff at check in. The facilities are dated and in need of an interior refresh. I actually like places that have history and character, however, it still needs to have finishes redone once and a while. The price is right and the location is convenient for Carson City so no complaints. I’d likely stay again due to the price, but it would be much better if they could update the finishes. Breakfast is only coffee and packaged oatmeal unless I missed something.

The person who helped us at the front desk was extremely friendly and very accommodating. The property was run down. Our room was less than adequate. No A/C. We had a standing fan. The lampshade was torn. The walls in the bath needed paint and the floors needed replacing. The blinds on the windows did not go up. They were stationary. Breakfast — don’t advertise!!

The room was big and we liked that. We could choose to park at ground level or an underground garage. The fan in the bathroom was loud. Even though it said no smoking the room we smelled really badly of cigarettes. It must have been a room that was previously for smokers. It really bothered my daughter and I. I wished we had asked for a different room. The hair blower didn't work. The women at the front desk was very nice. It was nice to have a continental breakfast.

This is a 1970s-era hotel in the heart of Carson City's Historic District. It has a 1970s feel in the best of ways. Though the carpet in one of the hallways is ripe for replacement and the decor is dated, I felt right at home. The staff is eminently friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, the beds are soft, and the complimentary continental breakfast is ready promptly at 6am each morning. For the price, the Hardman House Inn & Suites is a gem. I will stay here again next time I roll through town.

I know it was abnormally warm this Tim’s of the year there but the rooms were incredibly warm and had a very hard time sleeping. They did provide us a fan but barely worked. Terrible that the hotel is controlled for the entire hotel and not each room. Front staff at check in was great and very accommodating

Very disappointed with my stay. The hotel appears to be in serious need of renovation and better housekeeping. The room felt outdated and poorly maintained. The carpet was worn throughout the property, and there were signs posted acknowledging that carpet repairs and replacement were needed. The chair in my room was stained, the furniture showed significant wear, and the ironing board cover was torn and stained. The bathroom was clean enough to use, but it was extremely dated, and the overall condition gave the impression that little investment has been made in the property for many years. The hallways and common areas looked neglected, and the overall appearance of the hotel did not match what I expect from a professional lodging establishment. Cleanliness and maintenance are basic expectations for any hotel, regardless of price point, and this property fell short in several areas. The staff was courteous, but the condition of the facility overshadowed the experience. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it until significant improvements are made to the rooms, carpets, furnishings, and overall upkeep. Free wine 🍷 won't fix the problems
