“Herriot house is a lovely old stone building in a prime place right in the middle of Hawes village. We were met by the host on arrival...he was informative and friendly .explained everything we needed to know.. The room was lovely .comfortable and clean..tea and coffee were plentyful and homemade cookies and water were also there..the bed was realy comfortable The water pressure in the shower was great. “A fantastic warm welcome. Beautiful room with everything we needed. The care put into the room was evident in all the personal details that ensured a comfortable stay. Bed soft and linen gorgeous. Horsey paintings added to the ambience as racehorses trotted by the window! Soothing and relaxing! Breakfast was the best ever in a b n b. Hostess Sharon made us feel like friends. Our dog loved it too!”
