Lovely historical pub and hotel. The manager was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble, i was their on business and would come out my way to stay their again.

Great pub, great location and amazing staff

Lovely stay, the staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Location is great right in town centre. Food was excellent. The room was very clean and a good size shower just a shame the water was a bit lukewarm but maybe as it was the furthest room. Would definitely recommend a stay.

Lovely hotel in a picturesque country village

Lovely hotel in a picturesque village on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Great room & bathroom, nice decor and comfortable beds. Dinner and breakfast at the hotel was wonderful, helpful and attentive staff and service. Would definitely stay again!

I was made to feel welcome as soon as I arrived and all the staff I met were brilliant - nothing was too much trouble. Most importantly, they all appeared to genuinely care that I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was delicious as well. I wouldn't hesitate to come back. Thank you!

Anniversary night away.

Great time, welcome from the staff excellent. Room very comfortable and dog friendly !!! Will return again. We paid for the evening meal package, great value and lovely food. Breakfast was great.

Lovely pub in the centre of Kirby Lonsdale

We stayed for 1 night and the room was clean, very nicely decorated and comfortable. Whilst the choice at breakfast was basic, the cooked breakfast was lovely & not greasy . Would recommend.

A beautiful inn! Lovely staff (Sam), decor and atmosphere. A lovely place to recharge the batteries! Plenty of places to visit…. Beautiful scenery even in the rain!

Lovely staff and great breakfast. We took advantage of local parking that was free between 6pm and 8am. Traditional pub with good food and we had a comfortable room with a great walk in shower. Very clean.

Lovely old pub, with lovely big rooms if mine is anything to go by. Very quiet despite being in the centre, although it was midweek. Very nice meal in a good atmosphere. Great cooked breakfast, nice, helpful staff. Impressed.

Delicious breakfast

So upon arrival the hotel had no record of our booking through Hotels.com. Luckily they had a room available and gave it us for the rate id booked a year ago. The room was large, nicely decorated. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom. Breakfast was outstanding delicious. The staff were lovely. We had two issues. The toilet wasn't clean, had poo stains from previous guests. And there was no hot water from the shower. Luckily the bath was ok.

Great staff

Lovely hotel room, nicely decorated and the bed was luxurious and comfy. Bathroom was okay, but prefer walk in showers. It was very warm at night and unable to open the windows, although a fan was provided. Staff are excellent both at the bar, check in and breakfast. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and served with a smile.

Nice rooms, shame about the food.

It was a nightmare to get to the Red Dragon as the road outside had been closed. Parking was Pay & Display in the Market Square and it isn’t cheap! The Red Dragon is a pub with rooms which have been nicely furnished. The food is very much pub grub and not a great standard. I had a pie which came with a ballooned puff pastry lid straight from the freezer. A little effort with the food and it would be a nice place to stay. The staff were nice worked hard. Breakfast was ok but could be improved. Would I stay there again? Unlikely.
