“The Waterwheel Inn was exceptional. We had a garden suite which opened straight out onto the amazing gardens and a small double room. Both were decorated nicely and kept clean. Breakfast was served in the lovely conservatory and was excellent with good choices and nice touches like home-made jams and granola. “The rooms are quite dated, the majority of the pictures shown are for the first floor rooms while the ground floor rooms are lot more dated and feel like the disparity is quite big. The room itself has two bathrooms and the ensuite had a very foul smell when we first entered and the second bathroom had a damp odour to it. The ensuite smell went away after the first night, but the second bathroom smells got worse over time as the ventilator was not working which we mentioned to the property...

“The ship is unique because of its position in mevagissey. The room was not spacious but adequate for our needs. In the bathroom was a fairly new shower which was great apart from there was no place to put your soap or shampoo. The breakfast was cooked to order and like the evening meals were excellent. The pub has been taken over by a lovely couple called Alex and Noah and along with their attentive staff I believe they will make it a great success”

“Perfectly located (bang in the middle of Fowey), extremely helpful staff, lovely spacious room with stunning view, and fab decking area over looking the estuary. Would definitely stay here again. The only downside is that there isn’t any parking so have to go to one of the town’s public car parks. Having said that, we pulled up outside the hotel, put all our luggage in reception before going to park the car.”
