It’s all about the location! Centrally located in the heart of Carlsbad village , perfect for the Taste of Carlsbad. The room was clean and the site was very welcoming. We will definitely return, but pay the extra money to get a room with a better view.

Excellent family venue with beach access by walking across the street from the property. All beach essentials available on the beach from the resort. Walking distance to farmers market and eateries as well. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Room was clean, comfortable, and overlooking the pool, communal grass activity area and ocean. We come every year. My daughter loves it! Shoutout to the lady who makes the fairy bottles!

The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly we were able to check in early which was an added bonus after traveling for 5 hours. We would definitely stay there again the amenities ie pool were amazing and very clean and an abundance of clean fresh towels.

Close to the ocean though you must navigate lots of stairs or take a mile away ramp to avoid the stairs. Room and bathroom are clean and decent but are becoming very dated and need refreshing (carpet, flooring, paint). Staff are courteous. At 9pm our family were finishing a game of cards in the common room away from guest rooms and were told it was the silent hour now, Saturday night. Yet at 11pm there were loud people (adults and kids) running in the hallways laughing and having a grand time.

Had an amazing stay, everything we hoped for. Perfect location between the ocean and Carlsbad Village. Large, well-stocked suites with everything we needed, and a nice open lawn space for little ones to run around in.
