Being so close to the station was ideal as we travelled by train. The hotel was clean and seemed to be newly refurbished. There was an ace Indian called Shaha just a couple of walk away. The wetherspoons round the corner called Wiiliam Rufus was also clean and friendly.

Travelled by train so very convenient being a few feet from the railway station. With friends so asked for a room near by receptionist a bit off with we're busy and full no apologies. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast nice with good variety. Would stay again in the future.

The elevator was broken. The first room I was given smelled like urine and the windows were painted shut, so there was no air. My second room was much better, but the shower stopped running midway through. I had to use the hot and cold faucets in the tub to rinse off. The staff was pleasant.
